Our story
Founded by Adam Dorris in 2014.
Adam Dorris founded Insane Air AZ in 2014, and it has been family-owned and operated ever since — HVAC and commercial refrigeration for the Greater Phoenix metro out of Glendale.
The phone goes to a person, not a call center. And every install we touch carries a 3-year warranty on parts and workmanship — because if we're not willing to stand behind our work for three years, we shouldn't be doing it.
Outside the truck, we treat your home like our own — shoe covers on, mess cleaned up, garbage taken out on the way out. The little stuff matters.
Why Arizona is different
Phoenix HVAC isn't the same as Seattle HVAC.
Out here a system runs hard for months at a time in 110°+ heat, then gets pelted with monsoon dust, then handles a few hard freezes in January. That duty cycle wrecks units that were specced for moderate climates.
So we choose parts for the system in front of us and the conditions it has to survive, rather than defaulting to whatever is cheapest on the truck. The cheap part is the one that fails in August.
We don't guess at sizing either. Systems are sized for the home and the Arizona climate — your square footage, insulation, and window load — not a contractor's eyeball estimate.
